Welcome to mentalbuffyfan's "Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds" Walkthough. It will help you get through the single player portion of the game. Also, all secrets are mentioned in this walkthrough, and collecting all secrets in a level will help get you a higher rating. If you get the highest rating in every level, the "Slayer" rating, you will unlock all of the "extras", which include many characters and many maps for multiplayer mode. The other two factors in determining your rating are the number of monsters killed, and the number of continues used. All of the numbers have different weights, so it's impossible to tell you what your exact goals are to get the "Slayer" rating, but know the Secrets are weighted most heavily, followed by the number of monsters killed, followed by number of continues used.

 

This guide does not tell you how to fight every monster that comes your way. You have a Slayer Handbook in your inventory which will tell you how to do some pretty cool moves. However, more often than not, you don't have time to think about it, and you'll find yourself just button mashing. Find which moves work best for you, then use them.

Finally, because this guide was written for all three versions of the game, controls aren't specific. We refer to the buttons as "Use", "Kick", "Hit", "Block", and so on. This way you can figure out what these buttons are based on your controls. Now that we have all of that cleared up, let's start kicking some vampire butt!

 

Magic box

Welcome to the Magic Box. Your first goal is to defeat the invading vampires in the Magic Shop. Here you are simply getting to know your controls. Kick, punch, block, guard...all of the good ones. The text on the bottom of the screen will tell you which buttons are which. Simply follow the instructions and defeat the incoming vampires. Once you've knocked them down, stake them to make them disappear.

After you've killed the Vamps, you will control Willow. You have the new objective of finding Kraus's Compendium. If you need to check your objectives, use your control pad right or left until you get to "Objectives", then press "Up" to read the objective.

Pick up the Med Pack in the corner. Climb down the ladder. Collect whatever goodies you want to collect. Facing the ladder again, head right and through the archway. Locate the KEY next to the door and pick it up. This will show you the cabinet/desk on the other side of the room. Turn around and head through this little area behind the cash register. To your left will be a small cabinet. This is not the one we are looking for, but if you open it up with your "Use" button, you will find a Health-Pack and acquire a SECRET. Continue moving through this area. To your right is a table, and farther to the right is the cabinet. Go to it and hit your "Use" button. You will have acquired the SUN SPELL. To use the SUN SPELL, simply select your MAGIC BOOK in your inventory, then look at the button combination. Use the button combinations to create the spells to use against the vampires which will now attack. However, before attacking them, you are still facing the book with the SUN SPELL. Turn around and run to the other side of the room. There's a floor lamp on the right corner. Hit it and it will drop HOLY WATER, another SECRET. Now, take out the vampires with your Willow spells.

You are now Xander, and you have two vamps attacking you. Move forward and pick up the CROSSBOW on your right. Equip it, aim it, and shoot following the instructions at the bottom of the screen. Once you take out these guys, run to the opposite side of the room. On a table below a red poster you will find the BATTLE-AXE. Again, equip it, then use your "Hit" button to swing it. Once you defeat the vamps with both of your new weapons, you'll be taken out of this area.

Again, you're being double teamed, however, this time you're Spike. Just kick, punch and stake. When you get time, pick up the sword from the bureau, equip it, and use your "Hit" button to swing it at the bad guys. To the right of the star tapestry is a door. Approach it and hit "Use" to open it up. Inside you'll find some skeletons and vamps. Be sure to stake the vamps when they're down. Go through the next door and kill the vamps inside. Collect the goodies on the bookshelves, including the RELIC. Opposite this bookshelf is a gargoyle with a red eye. Approach it and place the RELIC in its mouth. This will open a SECRET area. Go through it and pick up the BASEBALL BAT and Med Kit. Exit out of the secret area and equip your SWORD. Notice there's a table propped up against a door. Use your SWORD to destroy the table and pass through the door, then the next door. Inside this room you'll be attacked by three pretty strong vampires. You are taught how to pick up and toss them here. Do so only if you can toss them on the wood crate, otherwise, just beat them up as best you can and stake them. One of them will drop a KEY. Use it to break the girls out of the cell.

You are Buffy again. Show them what you've got. You and Willow kick butt, go ladies. If you want, pick up the CROSSBOW and BATTLE-AXE on the counter. You're finally told Kakistos is still around. Oy vey. End of that level.

cemetry

You are Buffy and you are in the Cemetery. From the get go, you will be attacked by some vamps and things. Take them out the best way you know how. There are STAKES surrounding a tree in front of you, and to your right you will find a very powerful SHOVEL. Just kill, kill, kill. As you move along, try opening the tombs on your right. The third one is unlocked. Go inside and to the back. In the coffing you will find HELL FIRE, which is a SECRET. You will also find in this tomb a SUNDIAL PIECE. Grab it. To exit the tomb, you need to move the statue over the panel in the floor, and this will unlock the door.

Exit out and head right. You'll see a window in front of you with light coming from it. Jump onto the coffin in front of the window, smash the window, and pass through. Inside, fight the zombies, collect the MED-PACK, and the other goodies. Move through the door and into the next section of the Cemetery. Here are some more Vamps. Kill them, then the zombies that emerge. From your entrance into this area, go through the unlocked brown door on your right. Smash open the crates and collect the goodies. This is the second SECRET. Exit out, then run across the cemetery to the other unlocked brown door. Open it up and collect the SUNDIAL PIECE here. Exit out and climb up the stairs, move through the gate, then open the big door.

Directly in front of you is a stand for the SUNDIAL PIECES. Place the two that you have on the stand with your "Use" button, then head to the right side of the church and pick up the third SUNDIAL PIECE behind the grave (while fighting off Zombies, of course). Place the third SUNDIAL PIECE on the stand, and note the door it shows you unlocking. This door is in the area we were just in, so exit back out, move down the stairs, and head right, and go through the first door on your right (which will be open). Inside, kill the zombies and pick up the CHURCH KEY that one of them drops. Head back to the church, and enter with your new key.

Inside the church, kill the 5 or 6 vamps that come after you, then the two mean ones that break through the door. Once you kill them, pass through the door they destroyed. Go down the stairs, kill the two vamps, then the three bugs that drop from the ceiling ("Kick" them to step on them). Pass through the door by hitting it, then smash through the next one.

Kill the zombies, then head left. Pass by the opening on your right and smash open the crates if you are in need of STAKES. Head back now and go through the opening. Smash through this door and prepare to take on several zombies. Once this is done, pull out the crypt drawer on your right. Jump on top of it, then jump and pull yourself to the ledge above. This is the third SECRET. Collect the MED-PACK and HOLY WATER, then jump back down. On the opposite side, pull out the crypt drawer, jump up and pull yourself onto the ledge and smash through the door to your right. Move forward, collect the HELL-FIRE to your left, then jump over the hole, past the ladder. You will have some mean zombies to fight here. Do so and pick up the SWORD around the corner. This is the fourth SECRET. Now, go back and climb down the ladder.

Here you are in a sewer area. Fight the zombies. Facing the ladder, head left if you want to pick up some STAKES, then move right and past the ladder, through the opening on your right. Run forward and avoid the steam. Run through the open Tunnel 1 across the way. Fight the zombies who emerge from the right, then smash open the crates they were guarding. Inside one of them you will find a VALVE HANDLE. Pick it up and run back into the circular room. To the left of Tunnel two is an opening with a pipe missing a VALVE HANDLE. Approach it and hit "Use" twice, once to put the handle in place, a second time to turn the handle. This turns off the steam blocking the ladder in Tunnel 1. Go back to Tunnel 1 now and climb the ladder.

Here you will be attacked by two zombies, then some guy who pops out of the "A" shaped doorway. Kill him then enter the room he popped out from. This is the fifth and final SECRET for this level. Pick up the MED-PACK and BATTLE-AXE. Upon leaving the room, smash the crates and pick up another MED-PACK and the HOLY WATER. Across from the caged in area, notice the fuse box which is missing a fuse, and the power switch next to it. Pass on by and go through the caged area on your right. Something is behind the wall trying to get through. Smash through the wall and kill the two monsters on the other side. Head right and break open the crates for the HELL-FIRE and a STAKE, then go left into the circular overhead area. Take the left path and approach the fuse box. Here's a FUSE. Pick it up and run it back to the other fuse box that was missing a fuse. Place it with your "Use" button, then flip the switch right next to it. Now, head back out to the circular overhead area, and go right. Here's another switch to flip. This will rotate the bridge so you can cross into the tunnel on the other side. Do so. Watch out for the jerk who attacks you from the right. Kill him, then climb the ladder.

You emerge inside of a tomb. Kill the zombies, and grab the MED-PACK and HELL-FIRE to your left. Pass through the door and you're back out in the cemetery. Kill the Vamps who come after you, then anyone else who does. Move forward and notice the Grave Excavator. Too bad you don't have a key. Across from the Grave Excavator is a locked tomb, but you are told you can get in. Notice the eagle statue to the left of the tomb. Hit your "Use" button to turn its head, and a door will open on the right side of the tomb. Enter, kill the zombie, smash the statues, and pick up the IGNITION KEY. Go back to the Grave Excavator and use the IGNITION KEY. This will break open the wall next to the machine. Pass through, then move through the tomb. Kill the zombie, then exit through the door.

Back outside, kill the vamps who come after you. Before heading down the stairs, collect the MED-PACK to your right. Now, head down the stairs, killing as you go. Follow the stone pathway until you get to a tomb/coffin with the lid slightly askew. There's a zombie inside. Kill him, then jump onto the coffin. Now, jump onto the tomb to your right. Get yourself onto the grate at use your "Kick" button to smash the grate and drop through.

Again, you'll be attacked by zombies. Whatever, you know how to deal with them now. There's some HOLY WATER and HELL-FIRE hidden behind some of the tiles in this room if you want it. Once the zombies are out of the picture, pick up the UNLIT TORCH to the left of the web covered doorway, and take it over to the flame. Light it by hitting "Use", then walk over to the webs and use "Hit" to burn through them. Move forward, letting your LIT TORCH guide you. Eventually, you'll come to a well lit room with a cage door. Place the torch in the torch holder (if you will) on the right, and the cage door will rise up. Pass through and go up the stairs.

Here is the final battle of the level, and here is Kakistos. Getting here also completes your first objecive of the level, but now you have a new one. You must defeat the zombies and destroy Kakistos's spell before it resurrects Joyce Summers (Buffy's mom). So, go crazy on the zombies who attack. If you head to the left corner, you will find a MED-PACK, so that helps. Spike is fighting with you, and you can't do anything to the orb while there are still zombies around, so, again, go crazy and take out all of the Zombies. Once that is complete, start kicking and hitting the orb. It will change colors with the damage. Once you've destroyed it, pass through the gates behind the orb. This will trigger a cutscene, and the end of the level. Off to the Blood Factory.

Blood factory

You are Xander and your objective is to rescue all of the hostages. The first thing you must do is head right and turn off the conveyer belt by hitting the "Use" button at the control panel. Then, fight the Vamps. Facing the back of the room, there is a STAKE on the ground which you will need to completely kill the Vamps, and another inside the crate next to it. Once the Vamps are dead, go to the other side of the conveyer belt and smash through the wood planks on your right. This will free a prisoner, and release a Vamp. Kill the Vamp. Run to the opposite side of the room and pass through the unlocked door. Kill the Vamp, then the two bugs.

Head left, then through the door on your right. Kill the Vamps inside, and break through the planked door to release the prisoner. Inside is a MED-PACK. Head to the far side of the room, and, again, bust through the planked door to release this prisoner. This will make a Vamp come after you. Kill him, then punch open the lockers in the room to obtain the CROSSBOW. Exit out of the room, through the opposite door from which you entered and notice the electric fence to your left. In front of you, up high, is the control box for the fence. Aim your CROSSBOW at the control panel to stop the flow of electricity. Find the section of fence without the barbed wire on top, jump up and pull yourself up. Then, jump down onto the other side. Here you'll run into another Vamp. Kill him and pass through the door.

Inside, two more Vamps come after you. Kill them, then release the prisoner from the wood planked cell. He will give you a KEY. That's nice of him. Exit out the opposite door and go right. Three Vamps and two spiders will attack. Attack back. Move right down the hall, past the door to your right. Go around the corner and you'll find the body of some poor guy who didn't make it. Sad. Pick up his LIGHTER. Now, go back to the door you just passed and use your KEY to enter. Climb the stairs to the upper walkway. At the end of the walkway, pick up the WATER SOAKER and the HELL-FIRE for a SECRET. Head back down the stairs a pick up the HOLY WATER on the desk, then smash open the planked door. No prisoner, but in the cell you will find HOLY WATER AMMO for the WATER SOAKER and a Vamp. Kill the Vamp and check out the file cabinet. Notice the hole behind it. Slide the file cabinet over and pass through the hole. Here are some nasty Vamps and Spiders. It's a fun place to test out the WATER SOAKER, but I ended up putting it away and kicking the crap out of the bad guys. To the left of your entrace, behind the crates, is some HOLY WATER AMMO, if you need it. There's also some behind the orange dumpster. Pass through the unlocked door (that's kind of hard to see), to the right of the stacked barrels, if you're facing them from the orange dumpster.

Inside this room you'll have to stomp on a couple of spiders. Do so. Walk to the end of the room and turn the valve by hitting "Use". This turns on the gas. Approach it, pull out your lighter and hit "Use". You have blown a hole in the wall behind it. Nice work. Go back into the room and pass through the new opening, then the door. Take on the three Vamps. Approach the cage and look left. Whatever you do, don't flip the switch, as it will lower open the cage of the prisoner, and the Vamp will kill her. Instead, go through the door on your right. Fight the Vamp and go through the first door to your left. Kill the Vamp, smash through the wooden plank door to free the prisoner, then run back and flip the switch to safely release the prisoner from her cage. You have released all of the prisoners. You're such a good person. Time to play as Ms. Willow.

Willow is in a hallway. You are to also free hostages, but you mush also track Ethan and Tara. Behind you is a crate. Smash it to collect your STAKE. Also, check out Willow's Magic Book, as it reveals button combos to make her pull off some nice ones. She's a better witch than she is a fighter, so use the spells to your advantage. You can test them out immediately as you will be attacked by some Vamps. Run to the far end of the hall. There is another crate with a STAKE inside to your left. Go around the corner at the end of the hall and pass through the unlocked door.

Four Vamps attack, show them your magic. From the door, head forward and right at the large crate container. Head straight toward the fire extinguisher, then head right into the dark corner. Jump behind the crates and barrels to collect the CROSSBOW, and find a SECRET. Exit out and run to the opposite corner of the room, past the broken stair case, to find a MED-PACK and STAKE. Now, go back to the door from which you entered this room, and go into the right corner. Notice the small passage between the large crate containers. Walk to the back and jump up to grab the ledge. Pull yourself up and continue working your way up and across the containers. This will trigger some Vamp attacks. Deal with them. When you've gone to the highest level of the crates, you should be at the same level as the high walkway. Find the opening and jump and pull yourself up to it. Head down the stairs one flight, then pass through the unlocked door. Flip the switch at the end of the room, and watch as the container is lifted, and a door is revealed. Go to the door and pass through. Kill the Vampess inside, then hit the switch to release the prisoner. Exit out. Again a Vampess. Oy. Go right and approach the door.

There's a cutscene showing Tara tied up. When it ends, be prepared, as you'll be attacked. Go through the door. Again, you'll be attacked. There's a SHOVEL to your right. Grab it if you like. Once that's taken care of, head toward the forklift and raise the crate by hitting "Use" at the control panel. Now, get up to the slightly raised section of floor behind you, and run and jump to catch the ledge of the crate. Pull yourself up and pass through the door.

Upon passing through this door, you acquire the Homing Spell. OK. Test it out when you reach the floor and some unsuspecting Vamps try to attack. Excellent. There's a large truck in the middle of the room. Do you see it? Hehe. Anyway, get yourself between the cab and the trailer, then jump up. Walk around to the front of the cab, then jump to the top. Jump across to the trailer and collect the goodies up top. This is the third and final SECRET.

Now, go to the switch controlling the conveyer belt the boxes are moving along. It's next to the box exit. You need to stop the conveyer belt, but you need to do so with a large box to your right, so you can jump up to the opening directly above the conveyer belt. Pass through, grab the good stuff to your left, and drop down to the office below. Fight the Vamps and pick up the KEY CARD on of them drops. Go through the unlocked door, kill the Vamp, and grab the MED-PACK on the shelf. There's a caged in area with a keypad to the right of the unlocked door. Hit your "Use" button to unlock the door. Pass through into the next room and kill the Vamps. In front of you are two large blood vats, the one on the right has valves. Turn the valves until you get a cutscene of a blood pool lowering (I don't know if it has to do with the number of times you turn the valves, or order, but I can tell you I turned the middle valve, then the right valve, then the left valve (when the alarm started), then the middle valve again). Now, exit out of this area, and pass through the unlocked door we ignored before. This is where you lowered the blood pool. Yummy. Drop down to the bottom of the pool, then climb the ladder to the next unlocked door. Pass through this door, then the next one. Kill the spiders and go through the next door.

Upon entering this room, you'll learn the Sheild Spell. Good to know. Use it as you'll be attacked by some rotten Vamps here. Pick up the KEYCARD from the broken locked in the middle of the room. Go into the bathroom to pick up a MED-PACK, some HOLY WATER, and a STAKE. Exit out into the locker room and pass through the unlocked door. Here's another MED-PACK and a place for you to swipe your KEYCARD. Do so and pass through.

You have tracked Ethan and Tara. Now you must Defend Tara against Ethan's attacks. All I did here was run over to Tara and use my Homing Spell over and over and over again. I used it against the Vamps. I believe Ethan was hit by it only once. Once you defeat enough of the Vamps, your objective and mission here will be complete.

Magic box revisited

Here you're Buffy and your objective is to Reach Giles in the Basement and check if he's OK. Take out the Vamps in front of you. There are some STAKES on the lower level, across from the cash register. Behind the cash register there is a MED-PACK, and some HOLY WATER. Collect items around the room as they help take out the Vamps faster. On a shelf next to the glowing pick vial by the ladder you will find another MED-PACK. Go through the door back here to fight the two Vamps and pick up another MED-PACK. Go out the grey door at the back of the room.

You will now be outside. Kill the two vamps, and pick up the SHOVEL behind the large garbage can. Across from the double wooden doors are some glass tiles. Step on them and you will drop down to Find Gile. Objective complete. Your new objective is to Find Bibeau's Compendium and Return it to Giles. OK. Climb back out and attack whomever comes after you above. Exit back and into the Magic Box.

Climb the ladder and you will have find Bibeau's Compendium on the bookshelf. Take it back to Giles and you'll be given a new objective: Locate the Gorgon Venom, and use it to make Gorgon Stakes.

Head back inside the Magic Box, and go to the unlocked door across from the floor lamp, near the grandfather clock. Go down the stairs, kill the Vamps, pick up the HOLY WATER and the CROSSBOW. Facing the purple pentagram tapestry, go into the little area to the left of it and open the little "treasure chest" to find a MED-PACK and a secret. Go through the unlocked door.

Kill the three Vamps inside and go through the next door. Kill this Vamp. Pick up the HELL-FIRE, then the MED-PACK in the little closet area you opened up the first time you were here. Next to the locked door is another treasure chest. Open up and retrieve the GARGOYLE CLAW from inside. Head back upstairs to the Magic Box, killing as you go. Upstairs, locate the green flask, across from the cash register. "Use" your GARGOYLE CLAW on it, and you will have discovered the GORGON VENOM. Hit your "Use" button to create GORGON STAKES. Now, head back down to Giles and the Gargoyles. Enter the cell and kill the Gargoyles, finishing them off with the GARGOYLE STAKES.

Once you've killed the bastard dogs, go through the door. In this hallway is another treasure chest. Open it up to retrieve a MED-PACK and your final SECRET. Pass through the next door. You were just here. Oy. Simply cover Giles as you make your way back to the stairs. At the stairs there will be a cutscene. End level. Downtown Sunnydale, here we come! YAY!

 

 

Downtown sunnydale

Here you are as Buffy on the streets of Sunnydale. Your objective is to find the gang and return them to the Magic Box. Go ahead and explore the area, fighting off the Vamps and collecting STAKES as you go. There are locked doors and garages with burnt out controls (beyond the Bakery truck), and, of course, the unlocked double doors of the glowing red Cinema. Enter the movie house.

Inside, fight the Vamp, pick up the STAKE, check out the movie posters, and pass through the next door. Kill the Vamp, then run up the stairs, as you can't pass through the ticket machines, as you don't have a ticket. Upstairs you'll be attacked by three Vamps. Not cool. Take them out. Go down the hall that runs parallel to the staircase. Enter the first room on your right. This will trigger more Vamps. Do what you do best. Inside, pick up the MED-PACK, then the FUSE on the desk. Behind the Movie Projector is some HELL-FIRE AMMO. Pick it up for the first SECRET. Exit out, go right and pass through the door. Here you will run into Willow, but you can't free her. Instead, pick up the TURNSTILE TICKET. Now you can pass through the turnstile, or "ticket machine" downstairs. Head down and do so with "Use".

There's more HELL-FIRE AMMO to your right. Grab it, then fight the Vamps. Go into the bathroom on the right, and break through the window. You're back outside. Go right, then through the open gate to your right. Break open the crate for a STAKE, then climb down the ladder.

At the bottom of the ladder, you'll be attacked by some pretty scary spiked zombies. Oy. Facing the ladder, head right, then right into the short tunnel. Pick up the SPARKPLUG. Head back and go into the green lit door in front of you. Inside you'll find a slime pool that needs draining. OK. Exit back out after taking care of the Vamps. Climb back up the ladder, then find the pump across from the broken window. "Use" the SPARKPLUG on it, and the pool will drain. Head back down to the pool, drop into in, then climb the ladder up on the other side. Climb up the next ladder, and you'll emerge above ground again. Willow will toss you a SWIPECARD. This is what you need to free her. Nice. Pick up the PITCHFORK, fight the Vamp, hit the lock on the gate with your PITCHFORK to unlock it, exit out, go into the bathroom, and work your way back up to where Willow is located. Use the SWIPECARD on the keypad, then enter the room. There will be a cutscene of you sending Willow back safely. One down, three to go.

Exit out of the Cinema, back out onto the streets of downtown Sunnydale. Run forward, past the Bakery truck, to the burnt out controls by the garage door. Hit your "Use" button to replace the FUSE, then "Use" again to raise the garage. Inside fight the Vamps. Behind the forklift is a MED-PACK. Across from the forklift are some boxes. Get in the middle of all of the boxes, pick up the BASEBALL BAT and the MED-PACK for the second SECRET of the level. Climb the staircase and "Use" the green control panel at the top to bring the zip-line machanism over. Jump onto it, grab on and push forward to travel to the other staircase. Up here you'll meet Xander and send him back to safety. Two down, two to go.

Jump down and exit out the garage door by hitting the red button next to it. Run toward the bakery truck. Notice the small red button on the green panel. Push it and the back of the truck will open up, allowing you to pass through and enter the garage. Go through the door and you'll find yourself in the alley you couldn't get to before. The door in front of you is locked. Go ahead and work your way around to the other entrance to Willy's, while fighting. Inside, grab the POOL CUE from the table, then approach Spike. You'll send him safely back. One more friend to go.

Next to the pinball machine is a crate. Break it to reveal some HELL-FIRE, and your final SECRET. Behind the bar is a MED-PACK. Exit out, break the lock on the gate and run forward toward the road blocks. Head right down the alley and you'll find a locked door. You're told you need to break in. Behind you is a dumpster. Pull it toward the locked door. Jump on top of it, then jump and grab onto the catwalk above. Climb the ladder, break through the wood planks, and pass through the door.

Fight off the many attacking Vamps and go into the room to your right. You are told it's pitch black. Funny, I can see just fine. You can't do anything here now, so hop into the elevator and hit "Use" to go down.

Exit the elevator and fight the Vamps. To your right the door to the outside, by the dumpster. Ignore it. To your left is an office. Break the glass and enter to obtain the HELL-FIRE SOAKER. Go back in the elevator and hit the down button again. You will find yourself in the basement. Fight off the Vamps and enter the control room. Pick up the MED-PACK and the FLASHLIGHT. "Use" the panel under the fire alarm to check in with Faith. Take the elevator up two flights, back to the room that was too dark for you to see in. Look around. Pick up the SPIKE, and, on the desk is the BANK VAULT CODE. You know what to do with that. Head back down to the basement vault, and use the BANK VAULT CODE to open it up. Enter and send Faith back to safety. Your objective is complete. Your new objective is to return safely to the Magic Box, yourself.

Head up one flight and exit out. Run toward the Magic Box while fighting off Vamps. You'll eventually get a cutscene where you speak to the Dummy. This is the end of the level. BooYa!

Sunnydale hospital

You are again Buffy, and your objective is to locate Cassandra's Eyes. Yummy. First thing first, take out the bastard Vamps who attack you from the get go. You also have to protect Sid from an attack. There's HOLY WATER to your right, and if you smash the chairs to your left, you have a couple of STAKES. Once you kill the Vamps, simply follow the Dummy and protect him, collecting items as you go. In the second area you enter there will be a boarded up door on your right. Smash through it and collect the MED-PACK and HELL-FIRE inside for your first SECRET.

Exit out of the room and head toward the door with the flames on either side. Sid will tell you to boost him up to the vent. Once you do you will have completed the protecting Sid objective, and you will actually become Sid. Interesting. Your new objective is to clear the blockage to let Buffy through.

As Sid break the nearby chair for a STAKE, then attack the oncoming Vamps and Zombie. He's a quick hitter, this Sid fella. Once you get a moment, get behind the oxygen tanks, and push them toward the flame. This will clear the blockage, and the objective. You are Buffy again.

Pass through the door and approach Sid. Break through the wooden planks, then pass through the double doors to the courtyard. Sid leaves you, and you have a new objective to meet up with him. Move forward and you will be attacked by several of the super scary spiked Zombies and some Vamps. There's a SHOVEL and SPIKE nearby to help. Once you've cleared them out, check out the directory from the front, then head right to the ladder. Climb up. Avoid the glass panels and run right. Jump to the ledge which is above your entrance to this area and collect the HELL-FIRE and CROSSBOW. This is the second SECRET of the level.

Now, head back to the glass panels and "Kick" to drop down. Several Vamps will drop down after you. Kill them all, then collect the KEYCARD one of them drops. Exit out the unlocked door. Grab the HELL-FIRE and the HOLY WATER, then use the KEYCARD on the elevator door. Enter the elevator and hit the button. Upon exiting the elevator, you will be attacked by some spiked Zombies. Take them out, along with anything that comes after you. Go through the first door on your left and collect the MED-PACK inside. Exit out the door next to the copy machine.

You're outside, above the courtyard again. Jump up to the pipe and shimmy along to the left until you can't shimmy any more. At this point, drop down. Walk over to the area below the open window, then jump up and pull yourself up through the window. Head left and grab the HELL-FIRE and HOLY-WATER, then enter the first door on your right. From the desk, grab the WATER SOAKER. Walk up to the screen covering the door and hit "Use" to do away with the obstacle of it. Pass through the door it was blocking. There's a MED-PACK on your right, and a dead body to your left. Next to the dead body is a SEVERED HAND. Oy. Pick it up and run back into the hall. Head right to the door with the palm-reader, and use the SEVERED HAND. Kill the Vamp and pass through the unlocked door.

Here is a fire exit. However, without a fire, it won't open. Do they really work like that? I don't think so. Anyway, backtrack to the Fizz machine. Notice the fire extinguisher and fire switch. Break the glass on the fire switch, and the fire door will be unlocked. Go to it and pass through.

You're on the rooftops again, fighting the bad guys. Jump up on the fans and pull yourself up. Then, jump up to the ledge above, and pull yourself up again. Instead of jumping the large gap, go ahead and drop down. Smash open the crates to reveal HELL-FIRE and a MED-PACK. This is your third and final SECRET. Climb up the ladder and pass through the door. Kill the spiked Zombie and pick up the ARROWS, if you need them. Go through the door. Kill the Zombies and collect the HELL-FIRE. To your left is the top of the elevator. Jump to the top, and "Hit" the cables on both sides. This will cause the elevator to crash down, and you will have met up with Sid. That objective is complete.

Sid will lead you to a room with HELL-FIRE and a HEALTH-PACK. Again, you will lift him through the vents. As Sid, attack anything that comes after you, while reaching the other side of the laundry room door to let Buffy through. Run to the door on your right, next to the dead bodies. Enter and kill the Zombies. Jump out the window, and, again, kill the zombies. Pass through the unlocked door to your right. Kill the Zombies here and pick up the HAMMER. Exit back into the hallway, and use the HAMMER to clear up the wooden planks covering the doors. The first door on your left just has Zombies behind it and can be ignored. The second door, however, has a GAS CANNISTER inside. Pick it up and take it to the oxygen tanks at the end of the hall. Use the GAS CANNISTER like you do any gun, aim and fire. This will clear out the oxygen tanks and you can pass through. Kill the zombie and Vamp, then run to the end of the hall through the unlocked door and meet up with Buffy. Your job here is done.

As Buffy, move forward and, again, use the SEVERED HAND on the palm reader. Run down the stairs and kill the bad guys who come after you. Pass through the unlocked double doors and you will find Sid walking around the morgue. Approach him and he'll tell you he's looking through the records to find out where Cassandra's Eyes are stored. You need to cover him. Just stand between him and the Zombies and slash away. After a few seconds, Sid will have found the eyes in a jar across the room. He tells you to grab them, and he moves to face them. The eyes are glowing. Grab them. Finally, you have Cassandra's EYES.

Of course, there's a new objective: Meet up with the Scooby gang. What's that even mean? Anyhoo, Sid will lead the way out. Just follow him and protect him. That objective was simple enough. Objective complete. Phew. Time to go back to school.

highschool

You are Xander and you have some Vamps to kill. There are three or four STAKES in the immediate area, along with a SHOVEL. Tack out the Zombies and Vamps, then focus on the objective: Retrieve Cassandra's arm from the High School. Facing the school, notice the boarded up window to your right. Smash through it and jump inside. Read the "Cryptic Message" inside (something about "darkness"), then attack the little gremlin guys who come after you, and the Vamp. Grab the FLASHLIGHT from the desk . Exit out into the hallway and go into the room directly across from you. Fight the Gremlins and pick up the MED-PACK, the DICTIPHONE and the BASEBALL. Snyder's old safe is here, but it's locked. Exit back out into the hall.

Move forward and some Vamps will come down the stairs after you. The second set is tough. The BASEBALL BAT and SHOVEL do some good damage to them. Move past the staircase and enter the Language Lab to your right. Kill the Vamp. You can "Use" the first computer on your right, but, right now, you get nothing for doing so. So, remember it and exit out.

Move forward again, and notice the flahing intercom to your left. "Use" it and you'll be asked for a password. Well, you don't have a password, so finding one becomes your new objective. OK. Time to head up the stairs. At the top, move right, kill the Vamp, then enter the Math Room on your right. Seems empty. Exit out and pass through the double doors.

Enter the Computer Room to your left. Collect the MED-PACK, kill the Vamp, and notice, again, there's a PC in the room that you can "Use", but to no avail. Exit out. Move down the hall and fight off the Uber Leather Bound Vamps, then enter the Physics Lab to your right. Collect the HELL-FIRE, then the UV FILTER for your FLASHLIGHT, which is on the desk. Well that's interesting. Go ahead and drop down the hole to collect the HELL-FIRE and the MED-PACK. Jump back up to the ledge and pull yourself back into the room. Exit into the hallway and go right. The double doors to your right are locked, but the solo green locker to your left has a MED-PACK inside, which is a SECRET.

So, we've reached a dead end. But now we have the UV FILTER, so start backtracking. Remember the Math Room which seemed pointless before? Go back there with your UV FLASHLIGHT equipped. You will be able to read the password. However, if you go to the intercom now, you still won't be able to pronounce it. Thank God for the Language Lab. Go into the Language Lab and "Use" the DICTIPHONE on the computer to your right. The word will be pronounced and recorded. Go back to the intercom now and "Use" it. Your password objective is now complete, and the tentacles blocking the two doors have stopped thrashing around. Nice.

Facing the intercom, go through the doors to your right. In front of you is a force field. Whatever. Enter the Costume Room to your right and kill the Gremlins. Collect the MED-PACK, the HOLY WATER, and the STAKE (if you need it). Then, "Use" the magic hat. You will pull a bunny out of the hat and figure out a way to disrupt the force field. You need to place 5 Rabbits in the 5 Pentagrams around the school. The Pentagram next to you has been fulfilled, so you have four to go.

At your entrance to the level, outside of the school, was a Pentagram. Head there first. A werewolf of sorts will pop out from behind the other tentacle door. At least it's unlocked now, but we're not dealing with it yet. Again, you're going to the entrance. Take out the TOP HAT and "Use" it. This will place a rabbit in the...huh? Wait. What was that? I place a rabbit and the gremlin eats it? Well, that hardly seems fair. Something has to be done about this. It seems we have no other choice but to go back inside through the newly opened tentacle door.

Attack the Vamps and enter the Science Lab to your left. Inside, kill, then collect the YELLOW LIQUID, the COMPUTER DISK, the HELL-FIRE, and the ALIEN GUN. The COMPUTER DISK has some info on it. Backtrack all the way upstairs and into the Computer Lab. Find the Usable PC and "Use" it. You will discover the COMPUTER DISK has a PASS CODE on it. Now, head back downstairs to outside the Science Lab we collected the DISK and LIQUID from, then move past it and enter the Library on your right. Many Vamps here to kill. Do so, then collect the STAKES, the HELL-FIRES, the HOLY WATERS, and the MED-PACKS. Notice the Pentagram behind the caged area. We can't get there now, as we don't have the Key. Hmm...but we do have a PASS CODE. What could the PASS CODE be used for? Remember Snyder's locked safe way back when? Head back there, to the Administration Principal's Office. Inside, open the safe and collect the KEY. That's what we needed. Head back to the Library and open the cage door. Collect the STAKE and "Use" the TOP HAT to place the bunny in the Pentagram.

Exit back into the hall and move through the double doors straight in front of you. If you go left, you can pick up the POOL CUE. Also, if you go through these double doors, you'll see you've found your way back around to the force field. So, instead, go right and through these double doors. You will find yourself in the Courtyard. You will be attacked by a werewolf and some Vamps. Just run directly across to the double doors across the way. Pass through the door on your right that says "Basement Generator Room". Go through the door in front of you first and kill the Gremlins. Collect the FUMIGATION BOMBS, the MED-PACK, the HELL-FIRE, the STAKES, and the SHOVEL. Exit out and go through the dark gray door to your right. Head down the stairs. Kill the Gremlins, then step into the Pentagram and "Use" your TOP HAT to pull out a rabbit...hey. What the? First the Gremlin ate the rabbit, and now the rabbit is running away? Not cool. Anyway, this one is easily correctable. Notice there's a steam pipe that leads to the hole the rabbits are escaping from. Also notice there's a valve on the pipe. Turn the valve to create steam to the bunnies can't escape, then pull out another rabbit in the center of the Pentagram. Finally, we've placed one correctly. Head back up and out to the Courtyard.

In the Courtyard, kill the Vamps and Zombies, and notice the fountain water. Green and acidy. Yum. Hit your "Use" button and you will mix the YELLOW LIQUID with the green acid to create ammo for your ALIEN GUN. Hit "Use" again to fill it up. Climb up the stairs, and jump onto the ledge to your right. Take it to the end and collect all of the goodies for a SECRET. Backtrack to the staircase, and move onto the second level. Here's a door blocked by vine tentacle things again. Shoot them with your ALIEN GUN. You may have to refill a few times before you clear them out, but this is how you do it. Once they're clear, pass through the door, then enter the English room on your right. Kill whatever attacks you, collect the SPIKE and BASEBALL BAT, then pull a rabbit out of your hat on the Pentagram. That one was easy. Nice bunny. One more to go, and you know where it is. You also now have the tools to deal with him.

So, head back to the first Pentagram outside of the school. The one with the bastard gremlin who eats your bunny every time you place him. Walk up to his hole and toss a FUMIGATION BOMB in there. This will cause him to move out and you can kill him. YAY! Now place your fifth and final bunny. The force field is down. Go get 'em.

Pass through the double doors to the gymnasium, and you will have Anyanka's ass to beat. You should first run upstairs into the open room and collect the HELL-FIRE. You need to then run around and place bunnies in the middle of all of the Pentagrams while avoiding Anyanka's attacks. She usually shocks then thows a fire ball, and you're normally safe to place the rabbit once you've avoided the fireball. Once you've placed the five rabbits, Anyanka will come down to your level and you can fight her. The kicks, kicks and the hits, hits work, but what really does damage is the HELL-FIRE. Hitting her once or twice with the HELL-FIRE will toast her completely. If you don't kill her at first, you'll have to redo the entire process, and kill some rabbit eatting gremlins along the way. Once Anyanka is dead, you will have Cassandra's Arm. Go you. Level over.

Old quarry

You are now Faith. Kill the Vamps who come after you. There are some STAKES behind the truck to complete the job. There's also a SECRET in the outhouse right where you started. Enter after the Vamp emerges to collect the MED-PACK inside. There is another MED-PACK behind the brown rocks near the truck, in what looks like a destroyed mine shaft. This, too, is a SECRET. Once you've killed all of the Vamps you'll have time to check your objectives. You are on a mission to find Cassandra's leg. Alright then. If the Vamp has emerged from the little house, you may enter. If not, wait, and he will. Before going in, go to the back of the house to collect the MED-PACK and STAKES. Inside, pick up the MED-PACK, then pull the bookcase over. This will reveal some rotted wood. Kick through it and enter the the cave.

Run down the mine shaft, killing as you go. At the bottom, grab the SHOVEL to your left, then take the right path. Pass through the first door on your left. Inside, kill the Vamp and pick up the HELL-FIRE, MED-PACK, and DYNAMITE. Exit out and continue forward. The elevator is busted. While fighting off bad guys, go over to the barrels and find the lever. Pull it and two of the barrels will be released. Push both barrels under the elevator. Now, run all of the way down to the opposite end, where you found the shovel, and hit your "Use" button to toss a dynamite stick into the boarded up shaft. This will release water and show you a cutscene of you catching the elevator up to the next level.

Move off the elevator and take on all who dare approach. Pass through the door to your left and fight, fight, fight. Pick up the SHOVEL, more DYNAMITE, the MEDI-PACK, and any STAKES you may need. Run forward, then again through the door to your left. Work your way down the wooden walkway, and pass the door holding back water. Go through the door at the very bottom, collect what you need, then hit use as the central beam. This will place a stick of DYNAMITE at the base, causing the ceiling to drop down. Without the water pressure behind the door one flight up, you can now pass through. Do so. Fight the Vamps and pass through the door.

Kill the zombies, then run across the outside bridge. Look out for Vamps. Inside again, go straight. There's a locked door with a weird indentation above it to your right. Can't do anything with it now, so just move forward through the double doors. Inside, kill what you need to kill and climb down the stairs. Run across to the coal machine and turn the valve to put coal in it. Now, run under the machine, by the exit to this area. You will find a SHOVEL and a few HELL-FIRES. Use the HELL-FIRE to ignite the coal, and the machine will start churning. Now, run up the small stairs along the machine and follow the tracks. Grab the SHOVEL along the way, if you care to. At the end of the tracks is a little car. Go to the right side of it and hit the switch to move it along the tracks. Before following it, head up to the top of the contraption and grab the MED-PACK. Now, follow the tracks back to the car, then hit the "valve" on the car. This will turn it over. Go below to the conveyer belt and pick up your creation: The EMBLEM. Remember the door with the weird mark we passed by just before entering this room. Go to it and "Use" the EMBLEM.

Inside you will immediately be attacked by some nasties. Kill them. You'll get a new objective: Locate and kill Kakistos. Doesn't sound good. Work your way along the shaft, then move up the ladder. Inside the mansion now, collect the HOLY WATER and HELL-FIRE and pass through the door. Head left and go under the staircase to collect a HEALTH-PAK and your final secret for this level. Kill whatever comes after you. If you face the staircase, there is an unlocked door to your right, and one at the end of the small hallway behind you. Go though the one to your right first. Fight the Vamps, then collect the MED-PACK and STAKE. The fireplace is ready for fire, but we have no fire. Ah well. Now, exit out and go into the other unlocked door. More Vamps. Kill them. There's rotten wood on the floor, but you need something heavy to bust through. OK. Exit out and climb the stairs.

Upstairs, go through the unlocked door on the far left. There's something attacking a girl in here. I accidentally killed the girl here, but everything seemed OK. So, clear the room out, then collect the STAKES and the LIGHTER on the table. A LIGHTER means fire. Go back downstairs to the room with the fireplace and hit "Use" to light her up. Head back up to the room where you got the LIGHTER and notice the smoking brick. "Use" it to reveal a secret passage. Follow the planks to the next room with the Vamps inside. Collect the HOLY WATER, HELL-FIRE, MED-PACK and WRENCH. Then approach the central glowing BOLT. "Use" your WRENCH on it to release the fixture below. This will break through the rotten floor. Head downstairs and to the new hole. Jump down.

Follow the one path you can take, grabbing MED-PACKS as you go. Something scary must be up ahead. Oh, and look at that. Something scary is ahead: Kakistos. To defeat Kakistos, you must first destroy the three orbs in the room. It is best to work on them one at a time, and to be on the opposite side of the orb as Kakistos is...this way the orb will block Kakistos's fire attacks, the deadliest of them. I just kicked the crap out of the orbs while monitoring my health. If I needed a HEALTH-PACK, I used one. Once you destroy an orb, don't run directly to another. You don't want to get a distance between yourself and Kakistos. If you do, you're sure to be the victim of a fire attack, and you're avoiding that. Simply taunt Kakistos along so he follows at a close distance, then, again, get on the opposite side of the orb for blockage, and kick and punch the bajoongas out of it. The orbs go from blue to yellow to red, then they blow. Once you've destroyed all three, go after Kakistos. He's no more difficult to beat than one of the scary leather Vamps. Kick the crap out of him then stab him through the heart. Now that you've survived that tough battle, you're off to the Initiative Base.

initiative base

You are Spike, and you objective is to, again, find Cassandra's Leg. Run forward through the door and kill the Vamp in front of you. Climb the boxes to your right, collect the HELL-FIRE AMMO, and find your first SECRET. Climb down and you'll get attacked by more Vamps. Some you don't have to STAKE, but steer clear of them when they die as some will explode, and others will let out gas. Tee hee. There is a STAKE in the crate to the left of your entrance, and in many others around the room. Climb the stack of barrels and boxes to your left, then drop down behind the fence section to your left. Here is more HELL-FIRE AMMO and another SECRET. On the right side of the room are more crates. Climb to the top, then jump to the catwalk above. You'll catch the ledge. Shimmy across until you're behind the caged in area. Drop down and locate the third SECRET, the HELL-WATER SOAKER. Nice.

Pass through the next set of doors. Go down the stairs and through the door on your right. Kill the Vamps, smash open the lockers for MED-PACKS, then "Use" the computer in front of you. This unlocks the double doors outside of this room. Pass through them.

Kill the approaching monsters and head through the sliding double doors to your left. Kill, and work your way around. You'll trigger an alarm. Your new objective is to avoid combat with the cyborgs until your know how to defeat them. Can do. Enter the room in front of you. Notice the little red lights? These are laser heads. They are emitting laser beams. If you hit a beam, you're toast, mission over. You will have alerted the cyborgs. So, instead, enter the room and go left. Hit the large steaming cannister thing. This will cause the room to steam up and you'll be able to actually see the beams. Now, you're heading to the staircase on your right. Run and jump over the laser blocking your way, then go through the door. Inside, kill the Vamps and use the PC. You have unlocked another set of doors. Exit out of the room, jump over the beam again, then head out. Actually, I found it easier to jump over the two beams to my right instead of the one the the left. The controls just made it easier. Exit out of the room, jump over this beam, then run into the main hallway. Head left and you'll run into the set of doors you just unlocked. Enter.

Head down the stairs, fighting as you go. There are locked doors to your left. Continue forward, all the way down to the bottom of the stairs. Go through the doors and fight the monsters. There's a jeep with a mounted gun in the middle of the room. Climb in and you'll be told to look out for an Ammo Clip. K then. Pass through the white door, and collect the HOLY WATER. Go through the fence door and kill the Vamps. Smash open the lockers for a MED-PACK. Continue forward and up the stairs. On the catwalk kill the Vamps and go through the door. Again, more bad guys. Kill and move on. In the server/map room, kill the vamps and find the computer on the raised level, then "Use" it. You have now unlocked all of the security doors you passed earlier. Go into the next room. Use the laptop and discover the cyborg secret...they're being controlled by a mainframe. Now that's crazy. Your new objective is to destroy this mainframe.

Exit out of this area and backtrack to the catwalk area with the jeep below and jump down. Continue to backtrack up the stairs until you get to the newly unlocked door on Level 2. Enter and kill the monsters. Collect all of the items around the room, including the EMP GRENADES. Exit out and continue moving up the stairs. At the landing, go through the door on your right. There are cameras inside that you need to deactivate. Well that's what you have EMP GRENADES for, so toss one in and watch the cameras die. Inside, grab all of the items, including the ever so important AMMO CLIP. Now, head back down to the jeep.

Jump into the back of the jeep and "Use" the mounted gun. In first person view, aim at the large gas cannister and shoot with "Hit". This will cause the cannister to blow and make a hole in the wall. Follow the passageway down, fight the monsters, get on top of the caged cannister to your left for some HELL-FIRE AMMO and your final SECRET, then go through the white door, up the stairs, and into the elevator. "Use" the button and you'll be taken to Level 1. Exit out. In front of you is a cyborg. He'll try to fight you. You can't win, but you can slow him down with an EMP GRENADE. Open the first cell on your right, kill and get the MED-PACK. The second cell on the right houses a SEVERED HEAD. The first cell on the left, another MED-PACK. And, the second cell on the left, more EMP GRENADES. Once you've stocked up, use the SEVERED HEAD on the retinal scanner on the security door.

Inside the next large room, kill the monsters, grab the MED-PACK from under the staircase. Pass through the door at the bottom of the stairs and climb the ladder. In front of you is the room with the cyborg mainframe. There are also cyborgs who want to keep you from reaching the mainframe. There are EMP GRENADES here to stun them, and do just that until you have enough time to run to the mainframe (the computer) and "Use" it. It takes a little longer than normal, so stun those cyborgs but good. Once you've completed this objective, exit the room.

Run forward and you'll run into Adam. Battle time. You need the leg. It's fairly easy to defeat Adam once you figure out how to do it. Adam will go through a series of attacks. Your goals is to avoid these attacks. He will eventually pause and run to a barrel along the wall. When he raises the barrel above his head, toss an EMP GRENADE at him. This will cause the barrel to blow and damage Adam. Do this five times to kill him. Also, kill the generating Vamps as you go, as one of the two will usually provide you with health. There are EMP GRENADES in the back right corner. And that's all you need to know about that. Once you've killed Adam, you have Cassandra's Leg and the level is complete.

 

Sunnydale mall

Hi there Willow. Haven't seen you in awhile. As Willow, you must locate Cassandra's arm, so get to it.

Study your Magic Book again, because you're going to need to do some attacking. While killing the Vamos, grab the COOKING OIL from the food stand. There's a STAKE on the ground by the food stand. Bust the wooded planks covering the sporting goods store and enter.

Inside, collect the HOLY WATER, then the BASEBALL BAT in the changing room. Use these to fend off the Vamps. You will also learn the Possession Spell. It will cause all affected monsters to fight eachother. Destroy the chair and the crates in the other changing room and collect the MED-PACK and HELL-FIRES for your first SECRET. Go out the next door and pass through the tennis area. In the next area, kill what comes at you, collect the HELL-FIRES and MED-PACK, then jump over the counter. The cell area is locked, but there a gas lead. Shoot a fire ball in that direction, or toss a HELL-FIRE inside to blow a hole, and blow open the cell door. Enter the blown up area. Collect all of the items, including the MED-PACK in the treasure chest for a SECRET. To the left of the hole is a locked door. You need a key. Exit out the green lit "Exit" door. You'll find yourself in the Computer Store.

In the Computer Store, pick up the SHUTTER KEY on the counter. Exit out the front door and you'll learn the Sonic-Blast. Use it for fun. Go to the door to your right and unlock it. It leads back to the entrance. Don't go there now, but it's good to know there's a door leading there. Instead, run up the escalator behind you.

Upstairs, enter the Bookstore and kill, kill, kill. Grab the CREDIT CARD on the counter. Go to the back of the room and a Vamp will crash through the ceiling. Kill him. Pull the ladder under the hole on the left side, and jump up to the next level. Smash the crates behind you to reveal many items, including a MED-PACK. This is your third and final secret. Go back downstairs, push the ladder under the hole on the right and, again, climb up. Go through the open gate and use the COOKING OIL on the elevator cables. This will activate the elevator. YAY. Drop down, exit the Bookstore, and head left. Use your SHUTTER KEY to activate the green light on the door and pass through. You are in the central area again, but on the upper floor. Head right and around the corner. Enter the security room. Kill the Vamps and pick up the DICTAPHONE. Use the computer in the room. You'll find that you need a modem. I bet the computer store has one of those. Grab what you can and head down the escalator. To your right is an ATM machine. "Use" the CREDIT CARD to withdraw some CASH.

Now, head to the elevator. Inside you'll find a dead body and a BROKEN KEY. Ride the elevator up, and run to the Key Store. Fight the enemies, collect the items and walk over to the wall of keys. Here will be a cutscene. You have key A52. What door shall we use it on? The Sunnydale Bank. Run to the back, which is across from the Bookstore. You may care to stop by the door immediately before the Bank to offer the man behind it cash. You won't have enough.

Inside the bank you will set off the metal detectors. You can't get behind the counter like this. So. go back through the metal detector and place your DICTAPHONE on the tray. Now you can pass through. Be sure to grab your DICTAPHONE from the tray. Jump behind the counter, fight the Vamps and grab any and all items around, including the MED-PACK. Go through the unlocked door behind the counter and through the next door, past the vault. Fight the bad guys, hit the button the girl was guarding, then go over to the computer. "Use" the DICTAPHONE on the computer and the vault will open. Enter the vault and grab the CASH. Exit the bank and approach the door next to the Night Drop Box. In exchange for the CASH, the man inside will give you the COMPUTER STORE KEY. Head downstairs and enter the computer store. Take the back route as though you were going back to the Sports Shop via the blast hole, and locate the door that says "Component Store". Open the door and you will find the MODEM. Take it upstairs to the Security Room.

In the Security Room you will deactivate the Security Doors. Exit out and head right. The door under the huge Sunnydale Mall sign is the one you want. It now has a green light. Pass through, then through the next door. Here you will meet Tara. That can't be good. Tara will summon some Vamps up. Shoot them with the Posession Spell and they will jump back across and fight her. Do this and repeat. Occasionally, kill her Vamps yourself so you can collect health and magic from them. Also, keep a close eye on the fire balls she throws your way. Those hurt. Honestly, I had to restart the level so I could fight Tara with at least one Med-Pack. It really doesn't take that long if you know what you're doing. Once you kill Tara, you will have, in your possession, Cassandra's Arm. Time to experience a little a little Jungle Fever at the Sunnydale Zoo.

sunnydale zoo

Well, hello Buffy. It's good to have you back. You are Buffy and you are in the Zoo looking for Cassandra's Torso. Eek. Fight the Vamps that come after you, then run to the right. A couple ladies will pop out of the Reptile House, unlocking the doors for you. Kill them, but don't go in the reptile area quite yet. Instead, jump into the grassy area just past the Reptile entrance. Run to the last bush and pick up the HELL-FIRE and HOLY WATER behind it for your first SECRET. You should now be next to the African Exhibit. Enter.

Inside the African Exhibit, go through the door on your right. A force field. Great. Turn around, grab the MED-PACK to the right of the door, exit back out and pass through the door across from the entrance. Kill the Vamps in front of you, then the two who emerge from the door to your left. Once you've done this, pass through this door, then the next one. In front of you is a Vamp attacking a woman. If you save her she'll give you some HELL-FIRE or HOLY WATER. There will be many monsters coming after you. Kill what you want. To the left of your entrance, behind the bench, is another grassy area with bushes. Jump up there and get behind the upper bushes to locate many goodies, including a MED-PACK and a WATER SOAKER. This is a SECRET.

Jump down from the bushes and take the path to your left. Move past the electric fence, and you'll find yourself in a tunnel area, with some glass panels on your right. Smash through them, kill the bad guys, then work your way up the platforms. Jump across to the MED-PACK, HOLY WATER AMMO, and KEY. Collect these things. Look along the electrified fence. There's something we need on the platform across the way, but we can't get there now. So, backtrack all the way to the main entrance, and head into the Reptile area.

Kill the Vampires, and collect the HOLY WATER from the girl behind the sign...if she survived. Climb the stairs and jump into the grassy area on the right. Locate the HELL-FIRE and MED-PACK for your third and final SECRET. Now, "Use" your KEY on the door to the Reptile House.

Inside, you'll fight a couple of mean monkeys. They really don't like HELL-FIRE. Run around to the right of the entrance and break through the second set of glass panels on the wall and enter the display. Notice the wall. Push it and you will have found the Zookeeper's Entrance. Pick up the SHOVEL and the MED-PACK. Fight the Vamp, then smash through the window. Drop down.

More monkies. Ah well. Kill them. Go around the right side of the building, and you'll emerge by a car. Turn left and open the garage behind the car (there's a MED-PACK next to the car). Kill the Vamps, go through the gate, and climb the ladder next to the gate. At the top, shimmy left. The gate will slowly lower, as the one next to it rises. Jump off this gate, and scoot under the other one before it drops again. Inside collect the RELIC. Exit out the door. Turn right, then left and past the car. At the dead end, turn right and enter the caged area. Smash open the lockers and cut off the power. Now, head back past the car again, turn right, then go into the door on your right. Kill the Vamp. Here you have a slow rising fence. Hit the button and it takes her time moving. There's a reason for this. Hit the button, jump up onto the door, and ride it as it rises up. Shimmy over to your right, then jump down to the other side of the room. In the room behind you, collect the HOLY WATER AMMO and the STAKES, if you need them. Exit out and climb down the ladder.

Run forward through the tunnel. Look out for Vamps behind you, and climb the ladder at the other end of the tunnel. You are back in the African exhibit, but an area we couldn't get to before because of the locked fences. Fight the Vamps. Push the large bale of hay as far left as you can, then kick through the glass and hit the switch on your left. The switch lowers one gate and raises another, but the moved bale of hay disrupts this movement, allowing you safe passage underneath the gate, into the the other caged in area. Pass through and smash through the glass on your right. Inside you'll find a MED-PACK and a TRANQUILIZER GUN. YAY! Head left, break the lock on the gate and pass through. Look right. There's a flashing road block. You are going through the door behind this road block. You've been there before, but this time there's less power flowing through the electric fence.

Again, make your way into the cage with the platforms and the relic on the platform to a distance. Get up to the platform where you got the KEY before, and jump up to the fence. Shimmy across to the right, drop down on the platform, and grab the RELIC. Nice work. Exit out of the African exhibit to the main entrance. Head right, past the first door to the aquarium, and enter the second door to the Jungle Cafe. Inside, fight off the monkeys. You'll be shown a cutscene of a large monkey holding the third relic. Shoot him with your TRANQUILIZER GUN, and collect the RELIC. See, that was easy. Pick up the MED-PACK, exit out to the main entrance, and again, head toward the African exhibit...except this time, don't go in. Instead, turn around. Notice there's a little statue directly across from the African exhibit door. Approach it and place your three RELICS on it. You will become invisible.

As invisible Buffy, head into the African exhibit and go through the door on the right. Remember the force field? Not a problem when you're invisible. Pass through and collect the AFRICAN SHIELD. Now, it's time to go to the Aquarium. In the underwater tunnel, kill the Zombies, then equip your AFRICAN SHEILD. There is a mage at the end of the hall who will warp you back to the beginning of the tunnel if his orb hits you. Don't let it. With the SHEILD equipped, hit your "Guard" or "Block" button to block the orb. When you do this, the mage will be released and you will have to fight the Mage. Do so, then grab the MED-PACK and continue forward through the door.

Here you will meet scary, alternate reality Giles. Boo! Honestly, he's pretty easy to kill compared to our last couple of bosses. All you have to do here is avoid his fire ball attacks, and take on any of the apes he sends after you. At a point, Giles will create a few clones. This is your opportunity to fight him. Giles is always in the center of all the clones. Once you hit him, he will run. Just run after him and fight, fight, fight. Eventually, you'll wear him down to nothing. Evil Giles will be dead and Cassandra's Torso will be yours.

The first's lair

Here you are with all of Cassandra's parts. When you put her together, you are taken to The First's Lair. Buffy must go alone to find Hope's Dagger. Inside, smash the crates behind you to get your STAKES. There's also a PITCHFORK in the Courtyard to help you with your fighting. Take out the Vamps and whatever else comes after you. Walk up to the catapult and "Use" it. This will create a hole in the front door so you can enter. But we're not going through there. Instead, jump up to the tall middle platform (you can get up there on the side nearest the fire), and pull yourself up. Jump over to the ledge on your right and pass through the unlocked door.

Inside, fight whatever comes after you, and pass through the double doors. Again, kill, kill, kill. In this room you will find a BATTLE-AXE, two GLASS JARS, and some STAKES. The door is locked, but if you take the torch from the armor statue, the wall will open up, revealing a secret room. Kill the Zombies with the torch, then collect the MED-PACK, KEY MOULD, and you third GLASS JAR. Now, backtrack to the courtyard (you must place the TORCH back in the statue's hand to unlock the door).

In the courtyard, jump up to the door you destroyed with the catapult and pass through. Kill whatever attacks you. Move forward. You'll go down some stairs. Pass through the dark door on your right. Go down to the base of the courtyard and find the cannon. You need charcoal and sulfur to make gunpowder. OK. Move forward, past the cannon, and through the double doors to your right. Kill the monks. In front of you is a mill. To the right of it is a lever. Pull it for fun, but we're not ready to use it yet. Head back out to the courtyard.

Across the way there is a cart blocking some double doors. Roll it and open the doors. Kill the Vamps and enter. Collect the CHARCOAL DUST, then place the KEY MOULD by the firey vat. Go to the right side of the vat and turn the wheel. You now have a SKELETON KEY. This is useful. Exit back out into the courtyard, then head back up the stairs and inside. Head left, and use your SKELETON KEY on the second door you pass. Inside, kill the Monk and collect the CANDLE STICK from the altar. There are a couple of Baptismal bowls to your left. "Use" them to collect HOLY WATER and GORGON STAKES. Exit out the double doors.

Outside, grab the PITCHFORK and fight the two monsters. Continue along the path and collect the CROSSBOW. Face the drawbridge. Notice a section of the wall missing near the upper right corner of the bridge. Shoot your CROSSBOW into this hole, and the bridge will lower. Kill what comes after you, and pass through the doors. Go down the stairs and fight. Once you've killed everyone, note all of the surrounding doors are locked. But there's a well. Jump into the well and you'll be lowered down.

Immediately upon stopping in the well, go right. Here you'll find many goodies, including a MED-PACK and an AXE. These are all the first SECRET to this level. Fight the Zombies. Approach the double doors and pick up the SUNDIAL HAND. Now, pass through the doors. Kill the Zombies and work your way down the hall. Go through the unlocked door and climb the stairs. Pass through the unlocked door to your right and you will be back up at the well courtyard. Run left, past the well. Climb the debris and jump up to the level above. Pass through the unlocked door and collect the CANDLE STICK. Go through the next unlocked door, and you will find yourself above another Courtyard. This one has a sundial in the middle of it.

Jump down the the sundial, and place the SUNDIAL HAND on it, then "Use" it. This will unlock the door across the way which is down some stairs. Inside, collect the SWORD, MED-PACK and HOLY WATER for your second SECRET. Exit back out into the courtyard. Two your right you will see three doors. One set of double doors in the middle, then single doors on either side. Go through the door on the right. Head down the stairs and pass through the first door on your right. Climb the stairs, go right, then go through the double doors on your right. Inside, you will find two MED-PACKS and a BATTLE-AXE for your last SECRET, ever! Head back into the courtyard, and pass through the single door past the double doors on your right now. Inside, pull the stone blocks out of the wall. Once they are all out, a small platform will raise in the middle. Step on it and the wooden area will lower. lower, taking you with it.

Down below, pass through the door. Kill the Monks and pass through the unlocked double doors. Again, kill, then cross over the bridge, along the beam on the left side. Grab the MED-PACK to your right, then pass through the double doors to your left. Inside, fight the Vamp. You're in a lab. Collect the BLOCK OF SULFUR. You are told you need to grind it down. Thank goodness for that mill we saw years ago. Exit out and backtrack all the way to the courtyard with the cannon in it, then to the mill through the right door. Place the BLOCK OF SULFUR on the mill, then pull the chain to the right of it. Voila, you have GUNPOWDER. Go pack to the cannon and ignite her. She'll tear a hole in the door in front of you. Smash open the rest of the door and pass through. Kill the monks and continue forward. In the next room you'll find some scary monsters. Toast them, then work your way down to the dining room. Notice the sconces along the wall that are missing candles. Place your CANDLE STICKS in them. Pull all three of the sconces down to reveal a secret passageway. Take it. In this room, collect the MED-PACK, then kill the monsters. Pass through the next door, then just move forward, killing as you go. Pass through the double doors. In this room, pick up the MED-PACK and HOPE'S DAGGER. Objective Complete. Now, you must use the Dagger to defeat the First. OK.

Exit out the single door to the right of your entrance. Continue moving forward and up the stairs, and you'll eventually pop up in the well courtyard. Climb the debris, get up on the ledge, and get to the Sundial Courtyard. At the far end are locked double doors. "Use" HOPE'S DAGGER on the symbol to the left of the door to unlock it, then enter. Go through two more sets of double doors (don't bother with the other doors, they're locked) and you will have come to The First's room. There is, at least, one MED-PACK in the room, along the left wall as you go down the steps.  Anyway, here's the deal. Three monks will be placed in the Pentagrams, and they will pray. Use HOPE'S DAGGER to awaken them and to make the Pentagram stop glowing. It's a good idea to kill them while you're at it, but it's not vital. You just need to make the three Pentagrams stop glowing by upsetting the monks. When this happens, The First will not only shoot out a knock em down sonic sheild thing that you can jump over, if you're quick, or if you're a little slow, kill one monk at a time then hide behind a pillar (which will protect you from the sonic sheild thing) then go for the others, then he'll be vulnerable to your attack with HOPE'S DAGGER. he will create power beams below your feet which will knock you over and do some damage, which is usually bad because he then throws the sonic sheild while you're down, damaging you more. as soon as you see a swirl of light beneath your feet JUMP away from it. If you attack the first with the DAGGER One hit and it will fly across the room, but you have damaged him, well done! It's glowing yellow, so it's easy to find. THE BEST WAY TO KILL THE FIRST (IS ALSO THE EASIEST), INSTEAD OF KILLING ALL THREE MONKS, JUST KILL TWO OF THEM, THEN YOU CAN BEAT ONE UP BUT NOT KILL HIM. IF YOU DO KILL HIM THEN THE FIRST WILL END UP SENDING OUT ANOTHER THREE MONKS THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO GET RID OF WHICH WILL LEAD TO YOU LOSING SOME HEALTH (BEATING HIM UP WILL DISTURB HIM THEN THE FIRST WILL THROW A SUPER SONIC SHEILD THING AGAIN TO KILL YOU, JUMP THIS AND ATTACK WITH THE DAGGER)Repeat the process five or six times and you will have defeated The First. you will then see a CUT-SCENE just to finish the level, and the Game. WOOOHOOO! YEEEHAAAW! Nice work and well done!
